Meet the Team at Macgregor Consulting


Beth Macgregor

Director, Sydney

Beth Macgregor is a psychologist who has helped thousands of professionals transform how they understand and enrich the lives of even the most vulnerable children. Deeply passionate about making a difference in the life a child and expanding her impact, Beth’s early work soon scaled from child protection caseworker to government trainer to consultant trainer, coach and supervisor—uniquely supporting the professional development of those who work with vulnerable children and families.

Since 1999, Beth has delivered engaging and impactful training on areas ranging from attachment, brain development and trauma-informed education to behaviour guidance, Circle of Security, and services to support Conscious Discipline learning. Beth founded Macgregor Consulting in 2007 to support the professional development of those who work with vulnerable children and families. Her training, coaching and supervision roles bring the great reward of giving others the hope, skills and confidence to carry on their important work with joy and meaning.

With warmth, expertise and great care, Beth has become a sought-after leader in her field. She lives with her family in Sydney.

Morgan Tyson

Consultant, Brisbane

Morgan Tyson is passionate about enriching the lives of children and youth with complex mental health challenges. Her career began in child protection, providing therapy to children in out-of-home care and supporting foster carers in understanding the impact of trauma on a child, and how to help them recover.

After working one-on-one with children as a counsellor, Morgan discovered the impact of supporting the wellbeing of children and educators in Early Childhood Education and Care with a range of early intervention and crisis intervention supports as well as supervision. Today, as a consultant, Morgan helps others benefit from her experiences and expertise, delivering training to help professionals improve outcomes and feel inspired.

Morgan lives in Brisbane with her young family.

Natalie Simons-Rowe

Consultant, Newcastle

Natalie Simons-Rowe has more than a decade of experience supporting the wellbeing of children, families and early childhood professionals. Over the years, her roles have seen her work in child protection, domestic violence, family support/early intervention services and early childhood education services. Her work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma theory, brain development and child development.

Natalie now turns her passion for change to enhancing and inspiring educators through in-centre consultations, training programs that embed Circle of Security and trauma-informed approaches, reflective supervision and other professional development opportunities. Natalie lives with her family in Newcastle.

Jane William

Consultant, Melbourne

Jane William has extensive experience working directly with vulnerable children and families impacted by trauma—and she is passionate about the importance of early intervention.

She began her career as an early childhood teacher in New Zealand. As Jane came to see the powerful impact of approaches informed by attachment theory, trauma theory and Circle of Security training, she found new passion in delivering and enhancing those learnings—and went on to a capacity-building role with educators to support children’s social and emotional development and wellbeing. Today, as a consultant, Jane continues to run trainings and facilitate educator learning groups . She works in a strengths-based way to support people to see the whole child and understand all behaviour as communication, and she believes in the importance of continuous and reflective professional development.

Jane lives in Melbourne with her husband and Labrador puppy on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation; she recognises their custodianship of the land and pledges to listen deeply and contribute toward healing and reconciliation.

Jo Maloney

Consultant, Young

Jo Maloney has a passion for supporting children, educators and workplace teams to reach their potential and strengthen communities. As a consultant and author, Jo focuses on helping clients identify practical strategies to support wellbeing based on positive psychology principles, neuroscience, attachment theory and child development theory.

Jo has spent most of the last 30 years working in the early childhood and community sectors in various roles, including director, teacher, TAFE teacher, mindfulness facilitator, and consultant providing trauma informed social-emotional learning support for children and educators.

Jo lives in Young with her family.

Tanya Pasalich

Parent Educator, Sydney

Tanya Pasalich brings warmth, passion and heart to every moment of her work as a facilitator of programs for parents and educators.  

Tanya delivers the Circle of Security Parenting Program, and Calm Parents, Confident Kids which emphasise the importance of attachment, better child-parent relationships and tools to help children manage emotions and build resilience.  She also facilitates Circle of Security in the Classroom to early childhood educators so they can provide children with the emotional support they need to develop and safely explore their world. Tanya began her career as a caseworker supporting women escaping domestic violence and discovered her passion for family support work and coaching parents. Since 2016, she has facilitated dozens of parenting groups, bringing skills, warmth, a trauma-informed approach and sensitivity to the needs of diverse communities.

Elena Lowy

Client Care CoordinatorSydney

Elena Lowy enjoys opportunities to meet the needs of clients from all walks of life and ensure they receive a positive and genuine customer experience. At Macgregor Consulting, Elena fields enquiries and arranges sessions along with a host of other administrative and client support tasks.

Elena brings superb organisational and customer service skills, drawing on her experience in finance, bank management, sales and training. Her multicultural background and proficiency in several languages enhance her communication with clients and colleagues from diverse communities, enabling her to easily make connections and understand unique life circumstances.

Elena is also an artist and art teacher who lives in Sydney with her husband and two teenage children.
